Bailey panel pins are used to connect two adjacent Bailey panels. The Bailey bridge pin is generally in the shape of a steel cylinder, with a flange at one end and a cone at the other end, and a small hole through which the safety pin is inserted.
When installing the Bailey panel pin, insert the safety pin into the small round hole of the pin to prevent the Bailey pin from falling off. There is a groove on the top of the Bailey pin, and the direction is the same as the direction of the small round hole. When installing, the groove should be parallel to the upper and lower chords so that the safety pin can be smoothly inserted into the pinhole.
Bailey Truss Pin Specifications
The material of the Bailey pin is 30CrMnTi, the diameter is 49.5mm, and the single weight is 3kg. According to customer needs, the surface can choose galvanized coating or no galvanized coating. The galvanized coating can provide better corrosion resistance to Bailey pins. According to the different use positions, Bailey bridge panel pins can be divided into Bailey bridge panel pins with head and Bailey bridge panel pins without head.

Bailey bridge panel pins without head
Headless Bailey pins are mainly used between trusses, reinforcing chords, and at the connection between trusses and end columns. In the multi-row Bailey bridge structure, the connection of the middle row Bailey panels requires the use of headless Bailey pins.
